Video report. The Opening of the Stupa.
The ceremonial opening of the first Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment located in the territory of the future Buddhist Temple Complex “Tupden Shedubling – The Center for Studying and Practicing Buddha’s Teachings” in the Otradnoe sub-district of the North-Eastern Administrative District (SVAO) took place in Moscow on September 16, 2017.

June 20th. The Stupa looks like this. We are painting.
On the 9th of June, the most important day of the sacred Buddhist month of Saga Dawa, on the birthday, the day of Enlightenment and the day of passing away for the Parinibbana of Buddha Shakyamuni, 6 tons of texts, relics and statues in 128 boxes were safely placed into the Stupa. Thanks to everyone who helped!
The sacred Buddhist month of Saga Dawa, the fourth month of the Tibetan lunar calendar, started on May 26th.
During the entire holy month, Buddhists are in practice of all methods of accumulating merits: they devote more time to spiritual disciplines, take Mahayana vows and Bodhisattva vows, make the pilgrimage to holy places, make the practice of Kora around temples, stupas, bring offerings to monastic communities and the poor. The month of Saga Dawa lasts until June 24th.
